Situated on Quintana Avenue beside the Recoleta Cemetery and shaded by a centuries-old rubber tree, La Biela has been a gathering place since 1850. Racing champions including Juan Manuel Fangio once made it their second home, and the name itself references a connecting rod from an engine. The terrace is among the grandest in the city for a leisurely afternoon coffee with medialunas.
