Kronotrop opened in 2012 and is widely credited as one of the first specialty coffee bars and roasteries in Turkey. The Cihangir flagship sits just across from the neighborhood mosque on Firuzaga Cami Sokak, drawing both regulars and coffee pilgrims. Single-origin beans are roasted in-house and served via espresso or manual filter methods on a La Marzocco Strada. A foundational address for anyone tracing the rise of third-wave coffee in Istanbul.
