Founded in 1912 at Suipacha 384 and restored to its full glory following a lengthy closure, Confiteria La Ideal is one of the most architecturally spectacular cafes in the city. Ornate plasterwork, stained glass, and grand chandeliers set the stage for afternoon tea, coffee service, and tango performances several evenings a week. Its reopening in 2022 returned a true piece of Portenio heritage to the city.
