Coffea Diversa

Coffea Diversa is the retail and tasting outpost of a botanical coffee-variety garden that maintains a living collection of 800 Coffea cultivars at its Biolley farm in the southern Pacific foothills of Costa Rica. The Multiplaza Escazu cafe offers the rare opportunity to taste commercially unavailable cultivars including Laurina, a naturally low-caffeine mutation, alongside experimental micro-lots processed with novel fermentation techniques. The focus is exclusively on Coffea Diversa''s own production, making it one of the most narrowly single-origin specialty experiences in Central America. The mall setting is misleading; the coffee inside is genuinely rare.
