At the corner of Allenby and Geula Streets, Cafe Sheleg is a 1930s Mediterranean-style cafe that has become one of the most characterful spots in Kerem HaTeimanim. Coffee is taken seriously here, and the menu is anchored by regional dishes, vegan-friendly plates, fresh salads, and a bohemian atmosphere informed by the neighborhood's Yemenite culinary heritage. The sidewalk tables spill out toward the market lanes and are reliably busy from morning through the afternoon.
