Opened in 2010 by certified cupping judge Toshiaki Ishii, Amameria Espresso is a compact roastery-café three minutes from Musashi-Koyama Station that has quietly influenced Tokyo's specialty scene far beyond its size. House-roasted beans including an acclaimed Nicaraguan San Antonio are sold and brewed on-site, and Amameria beans supply About Life Coffee Brewers, among others. A serious, unpretentious destination for those willing to travel to the Meguro-Shinagawa border.
